CoD: MW2 comes out today. I am leaving in about 15 minutes for walmart to pickup a copy of the game. Can't wait!

Just popped the disc into my 360...Ill report back before I leave for school how awesome it is! Twisted Evil

Edit: So I just finished the first act on veteran. Got to train in Afghanistan and blow jihad screaming terrorists to pieces, climb up the side of a snowy mountain top and stealthily take out the guards, followed by being a terrorist and shooting some civilians inside of a Russian airport!

The gameplay is really good so far and none of the guns I have used yet have crazy recoil like some of the older guns in the call of duty franchise.

I'm just about to test out multiplayer, but I am sure it will be just as epic as previous call of duty games.

Second edit: Multiplayer is f**king amazing! As Kanye West would say, "Imma let you finish, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the best FPS of all time. THE BEST EVER!".

I got a drop kit and got the ACU as the item, killed like 10 people flying above the game with the cool black and white radar type imaging. You really need to get the killstreak bonus to understand. Razz

I heard from Taryn that alot of people were talking about this game on release day. Even heard it had a midnight release! WTF? When did this game become so popular? I haven't played anything past COD 2!!

Well, I just finished the campaign on veteran. Couple of frustrating moments but other than that the gameplay is amazing. The storyline is pretty lame but each mission or two you are tasked with mastering a new element of gameplay (vehicles, special guns, etc) and they are actually fun.

As with all FPS's the campaign is short. At least the new special ops mode let's you get a bit more gameplay once you've beaten the game, besides multiplayer.

I am close to hitting rank 70 now. I can't decide if I want to prestige or not. There are some cool titles you can get only after entering prestige mode, such as:

Unlocking all the weapons again will suck, but it also makes the game more playable.
