Hi. I've lived in Belleville the last 5 years, and I'm wondering if there was any chance an Anime Club could still be put together. I was also wondering if anyone was interested in doing the Cosplay thing? Let me know.

Holy hell a new member in Belleville?! There is certainly an opportunity for an anime club/showing. I mean I already do it at my house. But I'm always interested in doing something outside of just my place. However we need enough interest.

As for Cosplay? Well we cosplay to every convention around! LOL. The next one is DTAC in December. Check out the convention section for more information.

I should tell you, I don't have the means to get to a convention right now. Not going to get into the details, but lets just leave it at I'll be unable to do much for at least another 4 weeks. Only way I'm going is if I had a ride, and please don't take that as my asking unless you really don't mind.

Give me some more information on your group and I'll tell you about some of the changes that's happened here in Belleville. The new Library is ready. Fable Shop has shut down for good. Action Pack Comics has been open for more then a year and still going strong. I'm friends with the owner of that place and I'm sure I could arrange something for a group get together there.

Action Pack comics? Never heard of it. Where are they located? Are there any other anime fans around? When Chaos was around there was very few. I'm interested in doing a showing if something could be arranged. Bi-weekly maybe?

Action Pack Comics is a year and a half old now. I would imagine nobodys heard of it mainly because it's remained a nameless shop up until about a month and a half ago. It's located on Front Street and can't be missed. Too much gaming items in the window.

As for other anime enthusiasts in town, I really don't know myself. The question would have to be spread somehow, and I haven't the foggiest how to go about it. All I know for certain is myself and my fiance are huge into Anime.

Greetings!

For those of you who have not heard there is an anime club for the Trenton / Belleville area called TrentonAnime.

TrentonAnime has been going strong for 3 months now with over 60 registered members.

There is an age limit of 14 up and membership is completely FREE! Cosplay is not required but always welcome!.

Meetings are on Saturday nights from 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm, excluding holiday weekends (as well as Anime North and AC-Cubed). The location is the Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC), Siskin Centre, 50 Rivers Drive East, Trenton, Ontario.
