I guess the new one is in theatre now. Anyone know anything about it?

It just doesn't look that good :S Especially when your main actress wasn't even comfortable with it. Haven't seen it, will probably wait for it to be on DVD in like 3 weeks.

Honestly... my opinion is this: if I didn't know from my work orders or from the titles or voice overs in the spots that it was for the Street Fighter movie... there's NO way I could tell just from the footage. And that seems to me to be a real kick to the face for any of the fans.

Like... as horribly... HORRIBLE as the Van Damm movie was... it would only take you a minute of watching it no matter WHERE in the movie you start into and *snap* you immediately knew what you are watching. Sure it's a bad movie, but at least it is true to the source material.

Yeah that's true, you can't really tell its a street fighter movie unless you see the guy in the white mask and the claws, that or hearing someone call the main character "Chun-li". Even the actress said she wasn't too impressed with the movie. It's too kung-fu-y from what I've seen.

Yes I saw it.....and yes it was terrible. I would much rather watch the VanDamme/Raul Julia version.

On a semi related note, there is a new street fighter game coming out in march of 2010 on Xbox 360 and PS3 called Super Street Fighter IV. It is going to have a remake of the classic car destroying mini game and the barrel punching.
